John Lust is art director for the movie musician, this is his first movie what he started after unfortunate events what started to happen on 2014 in his home country Latvia and finished on the end of 2014 when Janis almost drowned in Malta and realized that he wants to create some art work in media, because pictures is starting to lack of expressionism methods what Janis uses in his photography. Janis started to write conversations between him and his friend in Malta who is street musician, he plays Oboe for more then 5 years. All conversations are written in the car while they are driving to and from Valleta, its a capital city of Malta where Toms (Musician) is playing his street music. All the visuals are made based on the conversations between both artists. In the way this was big experiment for Janis because he didnt know what will follow next and how to prepare. In the movie all the visuals are like symbols for the conversations.
